For better or worse, humans are
built as a unit.

Somehow emotions and thoughts
connect to our bodies.

Attraction depends to some degree
on appearance.  Self-esteem often
relates to waist-line.

We have been known to make diet
and exercise prerequisites to
further counseling.

Indoor exercise works, but outdoors adds
nature's therapy of air, sky, and beauty
to untangle the mind and psyche, at
the same time toning the body.

Marriage merges whole
lives, bodies included.

So, SHAPE UP! (Instead of shipping out.)

MARRIAGE TIP #10 - PRIORITY

When married partners become parents
it is easy and natural for the child
to become the center of things.

We see this as both joy and problem,
for child as well as parents.

The child grows up thinking the family
exists exclusively for him or her.
Partners is a poor marriage may
"hide out" in focusing on the child.

We think both partners and children
are healthier when the pair relationship
has priority.

Happy partners are better parents.
In maintaining their specific partnership
they increase the probability of happy
life after children, and the enjoyment
of grandparenting together.

We urge parents to make
partnership a PRIORITY.
