this permission to nag.
The point is different.

Marriage is almost the only relationship
in which absolute honesty is possible.

A good husband (or wife) will care
enough to tel us the truth, even when
it is as hard on the teller as the hearer.

Love requires the hearer to listen,
even when it hurts.

Without this speaking of truth to one
another, we allow development of
destructive personality characteristics.

So it is a duty to speak truth to
the other, to confront what is
crazy, neurotic, or untrue.

Although painful, this loving
confrontation preserves mental
and emotional reality, and
deepens a relationship.

So, for keeping one another sane,
CONFRONT.
