GENESIS 3:7

"The eyes of both
    were opened..."

A not–so–subtle announcement
    of the end of
    the age of innocence.

We keep trying to get back
    to the time when
    nakedness goes unnoticed.

We sometimes get close...
    but something in us
    holds us back.

Here sexuality is deemed
    a hidden thing.

It's hard to believe
    we are created sexual...
    then made guilty about it.

The message can't be
    a put–down of sex...
    since God invented it.

I see an announcement
    of conscience...
    something unique to man.

Who wants to live in a world
    with nakedness hidden
    by closed eyes?

    GENESIS 3:13

"The Lord God said..."

Did you ever notice
    that when the Bible says
    "The Lord says"
    it's not good news?

Anyway He had His say
    to the serpent
    to the woman
    to the man.

Each of the above
    gets species punishment
    for ever and ever.

The snake
    for talking to the woman
    tempting her.

The woman
    for talking to the man
    tempting him.

The man
    for listening to the woman
    and obeying her.

Actually God
    comes out looking like
    a poor loser.

God especially should know
    what might happen
    with man and woman
    along in a garden.
