"Now Adam knew Eve..."

Everybody know
    what "knew" means.

The Bible is discreet
    about being direct.

There's one kind of 
    "knowing"...
    and there is another kind.

This was the kind
    that produced
    all of us.

And although it never
    really gets said
    this kind of "knowing"
    bonds male and female
    into holy intimacy.

Good for Adam and Eve!

"Cain rose up
    against his brother..."

First we get sex...
    now murder.

The holy book
    and story
    of God's creatures
    is off to a bad start.

Once again
    the Lord God arrives
    too late.

Only in time
    to place the blame...
    lay on punishment.

One must wonder...
    if one dares think...
    that maybe the story
    generalizes facts.

Human violence
    is always
    brother violence.

And if God is God
    you can bet
    it will always
    grieve Him.
