GENESIS 16:2

"It may be that
    I shall obtain children
    by her."

So Sarah sends her husband
    to make a baby
    with Sarah's maid.

No artificial insemination
    in those days.

But the maid wasn't happy
    being a surrogate
    wife.

And Sarah was not happy
    that the maid
    was a surrogate mother.

They both wanted
    the real thing.

Don't we all?

     GENESIS 18:15

"'I did not laugh,"
    said Sarah."

They're still playing around
    with old lady Sarah
    getting pregnant.

"It had ceases to be with Sarah
    after the manner of women."

We're getting the picture.

"After I have grown old
    and my husband is old
    shall I have pleasure?"

She'd given up
    expecting to expect...
    or even trying.

The Lord asked Abraham
    why Sarah laughed...

And Sarah denied laughing...

But the Lord said:
    "But you did laugh!"

She also had
    a baby boy.
