Style of Wedding
Informal
A gathering in a home, outdoor setting, or chapel in which the Minister, Bride and Groom and two attendants participate in a simple ceremony. Any number of people can be in attendance at such a ceremony.
OR
A similarly simple ceremony including an entrance by the bride, perhaps with music or other participation feature.
Semi-Formal
This type of wedding can be arranged in any setting.  It usually involves formal entrances by participants, live music, and formal dress. Guests may stand or sit through a simple ceremony. If others than the bride and groom and two attendants participate a rehearsal is probably necessary.
Formal
A formal wedding may occur in almost any setting in which it is possible to arrange chairs, have room for entrances of the wedding party, live music, etc. Such a wedding is more complex, has more participants, and requires a rehearsal.

Size
Any of the above weddings may be conducted with any number of guests.

Medium 25 – 100
Large  100 or more

Type of Ceremony
A wedding is a ceremony about a commitment made between two persons. It is at the same time both serious and joyous. There is a spiritual quality in such a commitment, regardless of whether or not the ceremony is "religious."
The Ministers do not impose religious content on the wedding. We attempt to develop a ceremony that is authentic for the couple involved.
Weddings tend to fall into one of three types:
Religious Neutral in which the spiritual quality of the event is carried in the action and commitment of the individuals as they speak their vows and convey thoughts through the music and selected materials of the ceremony. Specific religious language or prayers are usually not included.

Semi-Religious in which religious sentiment may be carried in choice of music, readings, blessings, etc.

Traditional Religious in which formal marriage ceremonial forms are used, including biblical readings, prayers, and religious language.

Samples of vows and materials for all three types of ceremonies are attached.
