GENESIS 6:4

"The Nephilim were on earth
    in those days."

It's one of those lines
    you want to skip over.

Until you understand
    that these whatchamacallits
    "came in"
    to the daughters of men.

Don't you soberly think it
    sounds legendy and mythy
    to talk like this?

These foxy "Nephilim"
    cavorting on earth
    instead of in the heavens?

And producing
    unusual offspring
    called "mighty men?"

Is this someone's way
    of explaining
    those long life–spans?

Anyway God shows up
    and as usual
He doesn't like it at all.

Which explains
    why you never see
    Nephilim anymore.

  GENESIS 6:13

"I have determined
    to make an end
    to all flesh."

God's discouraged with us...
    and here we are
    only at Chapter 6.

He made a mistake...
    we didn't turn out
    like He expected.

Maybe we needed
    a mother's touch.

Do children
    always turn out
    as the parent expects?

We can understand
    being "sorry"...
    but is it excuse enough
    to abort everyone?

What kind of God is this?

Is annihilation
    God's final solution
    to the human problem?
