| Bargello with Personality: A
One-Day Workshop Quilt or Garment Design |
|
The bargello technique is the basis for creating a wall
quilt or a garment depicting a landscape, seascape,
farm scene, or whatever theme the participant can imagine.
We will begin with the basics of fabric selection, including
color, value, and proportions, and then proceed to
design. The basic bargello technique (but without matching
corners) will be explained and will be enriched with
several other techniques. Composition and appropriate
border treatments will be covered.
