Rita meets a Guild challenge with "My Oregon Sampler."  Each block's name relates to her feelings about Oregon.  "Benny Beaver" is featured in the block titled "Alma Mater", which of course represents Oregon State University.  The quilt is extensively free-needle quilted on her home sewing machine. The outline of the state is done with orange piping.
